Today, the chairman of the board of the organization The LGBT life e. V. presented the project Queer TikTok house in the Senatsverwaltung für Integration, Arbeit und Soziales.
Hello Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues.
Today, on behalf of my team at The LGBT life e.V., I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be here again and present another Queer TikTok House project aimed at integrating queer refugees through the prism of cultural and educational projects.
The Queer TikTok house project is both a cultural and educational project, the main goals and objectives of which are
- Help in the socialization of personality through the PRISM of creativity;
- Disclosure of the creative potential of project participants;
- Contribution to creative thinking;
- Promoting respect and tolerance towards different population groups;
- Develop the desire to help each other;
- Developing the quality of teamwork;
Target group of the project: LGBT * refugees who are currently waiting for asylum or have already received an appropriate status. The age limit is between 16 and 28 years. The target audience of the project is selected from the participants who have already submitted applications. When choosing a participant, all possible criteria are taken into account. For the organizers it is important that the project has an equal combination of all social queer groups.
This project allows participants to feel responsibility (in front of the audience of their social network, subscribers), develop creative thinking (through the creation of creative video content for their social network), learn to understand the main trends in the media industry. Each participant of "Queer TikTok House" will choose an interesting direction for working on video content for the TikTok social network. It can be entertaining, educational or other content. Participants will shoot videos for this network and, in parallel, study how their audience increases. Follow the original video trends and try to repeat them or create your own, which will then be repeated by other participants.
Thus, the project participants will be interesting and useful to spend time in Berlin.
At this stage, we have 5 participants from among our target group, with whom our project is already being contacted and communicated. The project will start its work from July 1 to July 31, 2021.
As the organizers, we observe all the conditions and safety of the participants, including in the framework of the epidemiological situation in the country. The specialists of our organization have developed and approved all the instructions that should ensure the most comfortable and safe stay of the participants in the project.
We hope that at the end of this project, participants will gain a lot of not only theoretical, but also practical knowledge about the TikTok platform. They will expand their horizons and find like-minded people with whom they will be able to carry their creative ideas further and put them into practice, thereby diversifying the Queer life not only in Berlin, but also in Germany.
